I’m Nick Caballero. I currently live in Boca Raton FL, and have lived in Florida since 2000 after my parents immigrated from Colombia. My wife and I have a son, 2 dogs, and a lot of plants.

I started my journey into software in the late 90s, playing with Logo. Once in the US, my parents purchased a Gateway PC. It was on that machine that I learned how to program in C, and made websites using Microsoft FrontPage. By the time I was starting high school, I was making websites for family and friends using Dreamweaver and Flash.

The high school I attended focused on performing arts, where I learned about stagecraft, 3D modeling, and the digital arts. A lot of the physical media I had from that time is lost, but I still have some digital stuff:
